The National African Student Association (NAFSA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association founded by a group of passionate individuals who believe, like many, that anyone can make a positive impact on the African continent. Their main objective is to ensure that the young African generation living and/or studying abroad are able to receive the necessary resources and connections to easily succeed academically and professionally. This would then make it easier for them to help the African continent and its diaspora community advance economically, culturally and socially.

Through our Chapter Development objective, we strive to ensure our member chapters are operating at a high level. This ensures the membership base becomes more connected and successful in developing meaningful relationships.
Through our Community Service and Cultural Awareness objectives, we plan to ensure our communities, in the diaspora and on the continent, are developing economically, socially and culturally.
Through our Career Development and Transition Assistance objectives, we work to ensure our members’ path to success is easier and more effective. This is regardless of the location they are based.
