Mentor/Mentee Interest Form

NAFSA is launching a mentorship program next month on March 6th! This program is designed for high school & college students to receive help from professional members that occupy a number of different fields in the professional workplace. A few of the objectives of this program include:

• Providing opportunities for leadership development
• Developing a professional and social network
• Professional Development exposure into the mentee’s potential career field.
• Building cultural diversity
• The opportunity to learn, provide insights, and ask questions about a career path
• And many more!

In addition, we are looking for a few collegiate mentors to participate in this initiative to mentor our high school members! A few of objectives of being a mentor are:

• Provide guidance to a student with their career path
  
• Be a leader who can inspire a student to continue their educational studies
  
• A role model that can help students navigate their strengths and challenges
  
• Be recognized as an advisor in your field of expertise
  
• Giving back to the community and African Diaspora
