We are pleased to invite you to participate in an event launching Africa’s Youth Voices (AYV), a youth network coordinated by the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa (OSAA). Under the theme of "Building Tomorrow's Leaders Today: Fostering Youth's Ownership for Africa's Future-Ready Leadership", this event will be held on 15 April 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (New York local time) and will take place in a hybrid format at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and online.
The theme of this year’s conference, "Charting the Course: Youth at the Helm of Africa's Future," emphasizes that young Africans should not only seek a seat at the table but lead the conversations shaping Africa’s future.
Through mobilizing the diaspora youth, we shall no longer be merely participants but true leaders at the table, shaping Africa’s destiny with boldness and vision.
Participants should expect to an entertaining conference where we forge stronger bonds within the movement through an exciting mix of social, cultural, and professional activities.
